Stand
The player’s decision in blackjack to not take another card, signified to the
dealer by passing your hand palm down over your cards.
Steal
Winning a game in poker by means of bluffing.
Stickman
The craps dealer who “calls” the game and maneuvers the dice around the table
with a long-handled stick.
Stiff Hand
A two-card total of 12 through 16 in the game of blackjack which is vulnerable
to breaking if the hand is hit.
Straight
Poker hand in which all five cards are of increasing consecutive rank
Straight Flush
Poker hand in which all five cards are of increasing consecutive rank, but all
of the same suit.
Straight Up
A bet on a single number in roulette which pays off at 35 to 1.
